We already know Chris Brown has some serious serious issues, but the company he keeps might not be any better. We didn’t think things could get any crazier after that insane police standoff, but apparently, crazy knows no bounds when it comes to Chris Brown.
Baylee Curran, the woman who accused Brown of trying to shoot her which lead to police surrounding Brown’s house, allegedly sent a text saying that she was going to set him up! What is going on?!
According to TMZ, who obtained a copy of the text, Baylee sent the message to a friend named Safari around 2:57 a.m. on Tuesday right after she was kicked out of Chris’ home. In the text, she says if her Uber doesn’t come, she’s going to set up the singer to “teach him a lesson.” The text read:
“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up. Lol come get me.”
Safari, who may be the only sane person in this circle of crazy, responded, “Really that’s f— up you ain’t going to do that your wrong if you do.”
Here’s where things get really weird. TMZ reached out to Safari who said Baylee stole his Rolex last year and he hasn’t spoken to her since. Texting is technically typing though, right? It makes no sense to text someone you stole from when the argument that got Baylee booted from Chris’ house stemmed from her being a bit too grabby with his friend’s jewelry.
This is the second time Baylee has been accused of stealing something of major monetary value. She’s currently wanted for questioning over grand larceny for snatching a pal’s Louis Vuitton purse.
This whole thing is so weird, and we don’t know what to believe, but Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, has the text and is working to authenticate it. We’ll just stand back with our popcorn as this plays out.
