David Hasselhoffs Close to Reaching Settlement

The bitter divorce between David and Pamela Hasselhoff may be close to an end, with both parties reportedly agreeing to the terms reached in their divorce settlement.

The couple have been fighting a nasty divorce battle, which has included allegations of domestic violence and restraining orders.

Entertainment website TMZ.com has obtained court documents which include Marci Levine, a lawyer representing David, saying in an email, “We believe that we may have reached a full resolution of the custody and visitation issues and are in the process of preparing a formal judgment…”

The email goes on to ask the judge to delay the next hearing: “… We do not want to lose any momentum for settlement…”

The memo asks that all orders, including restraining orders, stay in effect for the time being. One court order directs the former Baywatch star to “remove his personal effects from the family residence” on April 19.

Highlighting the contentious nature of the divorce, the judge ordered that a “neutral, third party is to be present at the exchange”.

If the couple are able to agree on custody and visitation rights, another potentially controversial issue remains – the division of property.
