Diplo, Barry Gibb & Ryan Tedder to front Twitch Stream Aid

Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb, DJ Diplo, and singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder have all signed up to live-stream performances from home this weekend as part of a new fundraising concert.

Twitch Stream Aid will also feature appearances from self-isolating artists like Charlie Puth, Jordin Sparks, Kaskade, Cole Swindell, Madison Beer, Monsta X, Die Antwoord, and Lauv, among many others, with all proceeds benefitting the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

The charity gig will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2020, from 12pm EST and run for 12 hours, during which viewers will be encouraged to donate to help the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Diplo has been one of the stars staying busy during the lockdown by entertaining fans with regular live-streamed DJ sets throughout the week, including his house music-heavy Ronatronix gigs, his country music-themed The Thomas Wesley Show, and his Major Lazer performances via YouTube.

On Thursday (March 26, 2020), he also debuted Major Lazer’s latest single, Lay Your Head On Me, featuring Mumford & Sons’ Marcus Mumford.

“I hope this song brings you a little bit of joy,” Diplo tweeted as he shared the new track online.
