Congratulations, Emily Blunt! The British actress and her husband, John Krasinski, are expecting their first child. The happy news was confirmed Wednesday and the adorable couple — who wed in 2010 in Italy — have often talked about their desire to have children. In 2012, Blunt told Manhattan magazine, “We want to have children; I just don’t know when yet. I’m just not sure about the timing of all of that. We’re both from big families, so I think it’s something we want.”
Blunt is next slated to appear as the Baker’s Wife in Rob Marshall’s Into the Woods, while Krasinski has just finished a long run as Jim Halpert on The Office. His next project is the upcoming film Prophet, which has a projected 2014 release date.
