Gigi Hadid frogmarched a prankster who interrupted Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show off the runway.
The crasher, who later identified herself on Instagram as Marie Benoliel, a YouTube personality and comedian best known by her alias Marie S’Infiltre, joined the models walking at Tuesday’s (October 1, 2019) Spring/Summer 2020 presentation.
Dressed in a houndstooth tweed suit and a black hat, Benoliel joined the runway to walk alongside the Chanel models across the rooftop set at the Grand Palais as security staff scrambled to stop her before she was confronted by Hadid.
Footage posted on Dazed magazine’s Instagram feed shows the supermodel talking to the runway intruder, before putting her arm around her and marching her off the set.
Cardi B, who was sitting front row, commented on the incident, telling WWD: “I loved the show. I got a little scared when homegirl (Benoliel) flew on there.”
According to the publication, Benoliel also crashed the runway at an Etam show last week, wearing silver lingerie and a sleeping mask.
