Inauguration poet Amanda Gorman lands top modelling deal

Poet Amanda Gorman has secured a new modeling deal following her history-making appearance at the U.S. presidential inauguration last week (January 20, 2021).

The Los Angeles native emerged as the breakout star of the swearing-in ceremony of President Joe Biden and his Vice President, Kamala Harris, after reciting her moving original work, The Hill We Climb, on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Gorman also won high praise for her fashionable choice of outfit – a bright yellow Prada coat with red satin headband, which she paired with jewelry gifted to her by Oprah Winfrey for the special occasion.
