If you’re searching for some new music that the radio or Spotify hasn’t given you yet, look no further. Danny Mercer is on the scene and we predict his voice will win you over, the same way it woo’d us immediately.
Danny is great with first impressions, which is why we know you’ll be dying for more music ASAP. When he was in college, he managed to snag the attention of Nasri, then of The Messengers, now frontman of Magic!. Nasri put him to work right away, and a year later, Pitbull‘s manager Charles Chavez was so impressed with him, he signed on as Danny’s manager. After hearing Danny’s “Outta Nowhere,” Pitbull himself decided to feature him on his album Global Warming, giving him his first big break.

This track is a raggae-inflected bit about jealousy, that really shows off his Latin-influence pop-rock sound. In an interesting bit of irony, the Bogotá, Colombia native attendied Columbia University, getting his English degree in 3 years, and has now signed with Columbia Records.
