Jim Carrey today posted an unnervingly earnest confessional video online in which he professes his love for Emma Stone, star of The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love. In the clip, the Mr. Popper’s Penguins star praises Stone as “not just pretty, but, you know, smart and kindhearted,” and gushes that, if their age difference weren’t so great, he would marry her and “we would have chubby little freckled-faced kids.” It sounds like the set-up for a joke, but there’s no discernible punchline. Creepy? Cute? Fantastically ill-advised? You tell us.
