John Krasinski has heaped praise on his wife Emily Blunt, labeling the screen star “the most tremendous actress of our time”.
The married couple attended the premiere of A Quiet Place Part II in New York on Sunday night (March 8, 2020) – a film starring Emily and directed by John.
And gushing about his other half to Entertainment Tonight at the star-studded screening, John said she was an incredible asset to him on set in more ways than one.
“She is without a doubt the most tremendous actress of our time in my opinion,” he smiled. “She is the most incredible partner in writing and directing and set designs. She just has such good ideas. So I actually felt like I had my partner in all things on set, not just the best actress in the world.
“Anything I can think of, she makes 10 times better so that’s a pretty good weapon to have on set.”
As for creating a sequel to his 2018 hit, John admitted he was unsure whether or not to sign up for a follow-up film. But he added that once he realized the movie could be as “organic and personal” as the first one, he didn’t hesitate to take the helm once again.
