Kim Kardashian Graciously Drops Lawsuit Against The Nasty Website That Said She Faked Her Robbery

Kim Kardashian has more important things to deal with than suing the website that accused her of faking her traumatic Paris robbery — like maybe recovering her $10 million worth of stolen property or spending time with her husband and kids.

Kim was having absolutely none of it when MediaTakeOut.com accused her of faking the whole robbery. She filed a lawsuit against the site and its founder Fred Mwangaguhunga which she dropped earlier on Monday.

The website ran three separate articles stating that Kim faked the robbery (clearly, they didn’t get the concierge’s memo). They referred to the starlet as a “liar and a thief,’ to which anyone with a brain would say “Girl, please. Kim K. doesn’t need your cash. She’s busy rolling around in money from her app and TV show.”

Kimmy has since graciously dropped the lawsuit after the website posted an extensive apology (we’re guessing they didn’t have pockets deep enough to face the Kardashians in court).

Here’s a little excerpt:

“After speaking to sources, including some connected to the Kardashians, and getting further details on the sequence of events — we are now confident and without a doubt believe that Kim Kardashian was robbed as was reported to the Paris police. Anyone who is still questioning it, is wrong.

We can understand how reports questioning if the robbery in fact took place can be hurtful, and so we apologize.”

Is it just us or does that sound a little weak? The website basically backtracked because police and hotel staff have spoken out (and Kim complained). It’s important to remember that Kim was never a suspect, and also, she has millions of dollars and gets tons of press. What was she faking it for — the publicity? Sorry, but the Kardashians are basically America’s royal family and literally get press coverage for going to the bathroom. Kim is doing just fine without the drama, and making stuff up for website clicks is pretty lame.
