Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa posts touching tribute to daughter Gianna ahead of memorial

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, posted a heartfelt tribute to her daughter, Gianna, ahead of a memorial service on Monday (February 24, 2020).

The 37-year-old took to Instagram and shared a snap of a tattoo tribute to her late daughter inked on soccer star Sydney Leroux.

“#2 (heart emoji), Leroux,” Vanessa wrote alongside the image of an outline of the number two – her daughter’s shirt number. “Thank you for honoring my Gigi. I love you.”

Sydney and Gigi, an aspiring basketball player, both wore the number two on their jerseys.

The memorial service to Gigi, her father and the seven other people who perished in a helicopter crash last month (January 2020) is taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
