Jimmy Fallon and Brad Pitt have been holding out on us. As was made clear Tuesday night, these two gentlemen are not only talented, hilarious, handsome devils, but also fluent yodelers.
In a chuckle-hearty clip from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, a stressed-to-the-max Fallon takes a break from his mountain of paperwork by indulging in the most relaxing activity that comes to mind: yodeling. On a rooftop that overlooks all of NYC, Fallon takes a deep breath in before releasing a loud and proud squeal. From a distance, Fallon hears a fellow yodeler belting the same string of notes. And before we know it, Fallon is joined by bun-wearing Brad Pitt, whose yodeling skills are surprisingly impressive.
And then Fallon and Pitt tackle one of the most challenging quests you’ve never heard of: a double yodel. Who knew watching two men yodel could be so engaging?
While this may be the most bizarre publicity stunt we’ve seen yet to promote Pitt’s World War Z (which hits theaters June 21st) at least we learned a valuable lesson: yodeling is so much more fun than gibberish.
