Lindsay Lohan Thinks She Deserved Natalie Portman’s Role in ‘Black Swan’

lindsay lohanIn May, Lindsay Lohan signed on to be featured in an elaborate spread for Plum Miami Magazine. She was supposed to make herself available for a photo shoot and an interview, which the magazine were going to use to try and show readers the softer side of the actress and portray her as the person she really seems to believe she is. But Lindsay only participated in the photo shoot and completely bailed on the interview, which means writer Jacquelynn Powers had no choice but to fill her article with the truth about how difficult Lindsay Lohan is to work with. She wrote, “Monday morning was supposed to be check-out time, but Lindsay and her posse refused to leave. It was like watching the lights come on at a nightclub after-hours — not pretty.”

Powers also wrote, “As we pulled up to the Fountainebleau, a bright-orange parking cone was blocking the entrance. Not accustomed to waiting, apparently, she lowered the car’s window and shouted, ‘Move that cone. I’m Lindsay Lohan.’ And it was done.” Additionally, Powers noted that Lindsay drank alcohol when she was talking about being sober, and said she was “constantly looking for drama, whether it was picking a fight with her younger sister…or freaking out over a lost pair of Zanotti heels.” And at one point, Lindsay even expressed disappointment and anger hat she wasn’t offered a role in Darren Aronofsky‘s Oscar-winning film, Black Swan. Powers said Lindsay “took ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie.”

It doesn’t make sense that she doesn’t understand why she wasn’t approached to do the movie. And while I’m not about to take the time to list every kind of blunder she’s ever made in her life that would lure filmmakers away from casting her, it’s just more proof that her perception of reality is more distorted than what a Picasso painting probably looks like when viewed through a kaleidoscope.
