More arrests made in Lohan burglary

At least four women were arrested by police officials on Thursday (22Oct09), according to a U.S. report.

The Mean Girls actress’ house was broken into in August (09), while The Hills star Patridge’s property was targeted in a similar crime in February (09).

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested in September (09) on suspicion of burglary in connection to Lohan’s break-in and is alleged to be behind Patridge’s burglary. Police filed felony charges against Prugo earlier this month (Oct09). He is free on $20,000 (£13,300) bail and is due in court to face charges on 11 November (09).

One of the women who was taken in on Thursday, 19-year-old Rachel J. Lee, is also under investigation for the $2 million (£1.3 million) jewellery heist at Paris Hilton’s property in 2008. She is also suspected to be the ringleader in the burglaries of Lohan and Patridge’s homes, according to People.com.

A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department had not confirmed the arrests as WENN went to press.
