Apparently marriage is hard even when you’re incredibly good looking. Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom and Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr are getting divorced after three years of marriage and six years together. They have one son, Flynn. At the end of last year, Kerr was photographed without her wedding ring on multiple occasions, sparking suspicion that the marriage was on rocky ground. The stress of work also could have strained the marriage — Kerr has been working on her skincare company, KORA Organics, while Bloom was simultaneously working on the latest Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug, on location in New Zealand.
The split seems amicable, as reports state the two have been separated for six months, but have appeared together on the red carpet as recently as mid-September. Low key for a Hollywood couple, there’s no reason to anticipate any coutroom drama or other antics typical of celebrity divorce. Bloom is currently playing Romeo in a Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, while Kerr continues to model and run her business.
