Chris Brown is once again in the headlines for news unrelated to his music — this time involving the theft of a fan’s iPhone in Miami Beach on Feb. 19.
The R&B superstar stands by accused by Christal Shanae Spann of stealing her phone — Robbery by Sudden Snatching, to be exact — after she tried to snap a photo of him outside a Miami Beach nightclub, after which, she says he yelled, “Bitch, you ain’t going to put that on no website.” Double negative!
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle issued the following statement regarding the case: “My prosecutors are currently speaking with witnesses and reviewing all of the materials supplied by Miami Beach Police. Only after these reviews have been completed would any type of action be considered or taken. This is the basic process that every criminal case in Miami-Dade County undergoes.”
