The premiere of The Curse of La Llorona was held at The Egyptian Theater on Monday (April 15th) in Los Angeles, California and featured the appearance of its star, Linda Cardellini. Directed by Michael Chaves in his directorial debut and written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, The Curse of La Llorona is the sixth film in the Conjuring Universe. In addition to the Conjuring, other films in the universe include the Annabelle series and The Nun series.

The Curse of La Llorona is scheduled to hit theaters in the US on April 19th, 2019.
