A warrant was issued for the arrest of both Randy and Evi Quaid on Monday on felony charges of allegedly burglarizing and defrauding the hotel owner.
A representative for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the news on Thursday and said an arrest had yet to be made.
It’s not the first legal woe for the pair this year — private investigator Becky Altringer is suing the Quaids for $19,000 in unpaid fees after they hired her to investigate death threats and an insurance fraud against them.
