Kelly Osbourne is getting ready for a whole different kind of reality: rehab.
The 24-year-old daughter of Sharon and rocker Ozzy Osbourne — himself no stranger to treatment for drugs and alcohol — has checked into an unnamed center in Los Angeles for 30 days.
Osbourne’s rehab stay was confirmed by People magazine, via the actress/reality star’s London representative: “Kelly Osbourne has voluntarily entered a medical facility to address some personal issues. Her family stands by and supports her.”
Additionally, Kelly’s mom, America’s Got Talent co-host Sharon, was quoted on Radaronline.com late Thursday night as saying, “Yeah, Kelly’s in rehab. What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we’re proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she’s getting it … We just pray that everything’s going to be okay.”
Kelly, who shot to fame in 2002 when she starred with her family (minus her sister Aimee) in MTV’s reality show The Osbournes, previously checked into rehab nearly five years ago, following an addiction to painkillers.
Kelly and the rest of the Osbourne clan (again, with the exception of Amy) had been filming a new reality show, Osbournes: Reloaded, which is slated to air on Fox sometime early this year.
