Selena Gomez is feeling reflective after enjoying a successful 2019.
Last month (October 2019), the star made a sensational comeback with two new tracks – Lose You to Love Me and Look At Her Now – from her upcoming third solo album.
She also performed the songs to kick off the 2019 American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (November 24, 2019), marking her first live TV performance in two years and, speaking with InStyle, Selena looked back on the past 12 months of her life.
“I think every time the holidays come up, there’s some part of you where you kind of sit and reflect on the year,” she shared. “This year was really, really powerful for me. I can say that I’m so proud of how hard I worked.”
Despite having ambitious plans for the next year, the star confessed she’s looking forward to resting over the festive period, admitting she’s “excited to just sit back with my family, and enjoy, and turn off everything”.
“I always just think about what happened, and where I want to go in life, and hope for the best,” the Wolves singer added of her usual holiday plans.
Selena’s new album SG2 is slated for release on January 10, 2020.
