It’s amazing to see celebrities use their time to make the world a better place, and after watching The Drew Barrymore Show, we had to shine some light on Drew Barrymore.
Drew has made her mark in sustainability for years with her plant-based makeup line, Flower Beauty. Simultaneously, she has promoted all forms of living a sustainable life on her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show.

Before The Drew Barrymore Show, there was Flower Beauty
In 2013, Drew Barrymore launched her own beauty line called Flower Beauty. Stressing the importance of self-love and inner beauty, the line’s mission is to create “cosmetics and tools that not only make life easier and more fun but look and feel amazing.”
According to Flower Beauty’s website, the brand promotes cruelty-free and good-quality products at an affordable price. Like Drew herself, the brand is lighthearted and fun so that people can enjoy using the makeup products they buy. “We don’t take ourselves too seriously,” the company says. “But we’re serious about creating kick-ass beauty products for you.”
The plant-based makeup line is also solely manufactured in the U.S. to diminish shipping pollution.
The Drew Barrymore Show promotes eco-friendly techniques
Drew Barrymore makes sure to implement her love of the earth in every aspect of her career. On her talk show, she hosts a variety of segments where guests come on and teach new eco-friendly techniques.
Drew has collaborated with environmental lifestyle expert and Naturally magazine editor-in-chief Danny Seo for a series called “Do Just One Thing.” In this series, Danny guides viewers through ways to change everyday things through an eco-friendly perspective.
He gives great ideas on how to gift wrap a wine bottle, make eco-friendly slime for kids, or create cleaning products from food leftovers. Drew joins Danny on his environmental adventures, showing people how easy it can be to change one thing about your lifestyle.
Drew Barrymore has also teamed up with electronic company LG to show audiences the step-by-step process of upcycling. With upcycling, you can take materials that already exist and create them into something new. In other words, you’re reusing products that would otherwise be thrown away. Drew Barrymore’s environmental efforts do not go unnoticed
People have shown their appreciation for Drew Barrymore’s eco-friendly habits. Allure has awarded Flower Beauty twice with their Best of Beauty Award. Fans have also taken to social media to share their love for the makeup line.
