Katie Holmes threw Tom Cruise a surprise 49th birthday party in Miami’s SoHo Beach House yesterday, and people were apparently shocked because she did everything herself: even the RSVPs…which, obviously, is astonishing. – Access Hollywood
Daniel Radcliffe sort of told GQ magazine that he used to be a little bit of an alcoholic, but that he’s been sober since last August. He said, “I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff,” and he even admitted that his drinking became a problem on the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince but no photographers were around to catch him drinking. He said, “I really got away with that because there were many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken.” He finally got a hold of his drinking on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, which he filmed last summer. “There’s no shame in living a quiet life. And that’s been the realization of the past few years for me.” – People
