The Jonas Brothers Move Gig From Murder Venue

The Jonas Brothers have scrapped a planned weekend performance at the same New York club where a woman was found dead after attending Lil’ Kim‘s birthday party.

The pop trio was due to play a gig at Spotlight Live on Saturday, August 9, but the concert has now been moved to a different venue following the

murder of a partygoer there on Sunday, August 3.

The body of 24-year-old Ingrid Rivera was found on the roof of the Times Square karaoke bar on Wednesday, August 6, three days after she joined the

rapper to celebrate her birthday at the club.

New York Police Department officers arrested one man, club employee Syed Rahman, on suspicion of the killing on Thursday, August 7. Rahman, who is

being held in custody, has now been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly confessing to the crime.

The Jonas Brothers‘ show is to be co-hosted by New York radio’s Z100 and according to the Z100 Calendar of Events the concert has been moved to the NYC’s Madison Square Garden. The decision to relocate the event was taken by executives at Z100 and not The Jonas Brothers‘ management reports
