Father and daughter reunite! On Tuesday morning, Tom Cruise arrived in New York City to spend some quality time with Suri, 6, who has been living with her mother, Katie Holmes, since Holmes filed for divorce just over two weeks ago.
Cruise was spotted carrying Suri around the streets of the Big Apple shortly after his arrival — and this is the first time he has gotten to see his daughter since he and Holmes agreed to a settlement on July 7.
According to the agreement, Holmes gets primary custody of Suri, while Cruise has visitation rights. But the 50-year-old actor agreed to the terms because he wants what’s best for his little girl. “They both love their daughter,” a source told People.com at the time. “And Tom thinks she should be with her mother.”
Now it’s just a matter of Cruise getting time with his little girl — and it looks like he’s determined to make that happen.
