Bullock’s Husband Involved in Cheating Scandal
THURSDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: James has issued a statement of apology to Bullock, via People.com: “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
James did go on to say that “the vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.”
THURSDAY UPDATE:
People.com is reporting that Bullock has left the Southern California house she and James had been living in.
Sandra Bullock was riding so high that it was only a matter of time before the obligatory semi-scandal struck.
Reports are surfacing that Bullock’s husband of almost five years, Jesse James, has been cheating on the recent Oscar winner.
Tattoo model Michelle McGee went to In Touch Weekly with claims of an 11-month affair with James while Bullock was in Texas filming The Blind Side.
McGee says she had no idea that James and Bullock were still together: “I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man … He gave me the impression they were separated.”
McGee continued: “I asked him, ‘What’s going on with you and Sandra?’ He Said, ‘She doesn’t live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can’t talk about it.’”
The news comes just as Bullock abruptly pulled out of the London premiere of The Blind Side, which was planned for next week.
