There was no lasso holding this cowboy back. On Monday night, Luke Bryan literally stormed the 2012 American Country Awards taking home nine wins, spurring ahead in the categories of Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year: Male, Album of the Year for Tailgates & Tanlines, Single of the Year and Single of the Year: Male for “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” Music Video of the Year and Music Video of the Year: Male again for “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” and Most Played Radio Track and Most Played Radio Track: Male yet again for the same loved single. “I Don’t Want This Night To End” literally made Bryan’s year.
But Bryan wasn’t the only winner of the night (though he was the only one to do so, so many times). Miranda Lambert roped in three in the categories of Single of the Year: Female, Music Video: Female, and Most Played Radio Track: Female, all for her single “Over You.” Lady Antebellum and newcomer Hunter Hayes also rode away with two awards each.
