Welcome to Good in the Wood Wednesdays, where we share good news happening in Hollywood and beyond.
For our first piece of feel-good news: Madam Vice President-elect Kamala Harris blesses us all as Vogue’s new cover star.
Yup, you read that right. Our girl Kamala is the February cover star for V-O-G-U-E.
This cover shoot is much-needed after a week of not-so-feel-good news.
Harris will make history as the first-ever female U.S. Vice President, and we’re celebrating this historic win before, during, and after Inauguration Day.
In her interview with Vogue, Harris says: “I always say this: I may be the first to do many things—make sure I’m not the last.”
She is giving hope to all womxn, young and old, that they can do anything they want––in comfy shoes, too.
President-elect Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris will be sworn in on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021. We wonder if Party in the U.S.A. will soar back into the streaming charts like it did after Election Day 2020.
You can read more of Kamala’s cover story here on Vogue.
