YUM!! John Krasinski Has Come A Long Way Since His Days As Jim Halpert

We fell in love with John Krasinski almost a decade ago as the 6’3″ charmer Jim Halpert on NBC’s The Office. Since the series wrapped two years ago, we’ve been looking out for Krasinski and his voice in films like Monster’s University and Aloha. For his latest role as a Navy SEAL in Michael Bay‘s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Emily Blunt‘s hubby got super ripped in just four months. Lucky for us, the 36-year old actor showed off his new guns on the cover of this month’s Men’s Health.

When chatting about his rigorous workout regiment, Krasinski  said, “I gotta be honest: It was brutal at times. We did tons of metabolic work, dragging sleds and all this stuff I’ve seen NFL players do.” He also told Jimmy Kimmel that he ate a lot of salads and chicken and drank water. (Yuck.) However, Krasinski also discussed the positive aspects of being in the best shape of his life. He said, “I think there’s a part of you where you become addicted to it. I love feeling strong. You pick up your daughter with ease while everyone else makes a little grunt when they pick up their kids. I walk with better posture and a little more presence. I was more of a sit-in-the-corner guy. Now I’m a lot less of that.” He’ll definitely be giving the best bear hugs to his 22-month old daughter, Hazel.

Check out hunky and now bearded (we likey) actor’s transformation on the flip side.
