Josh Duggar returns home from rehab

Josh Duggar has finished a six month stint in rehab.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star was released from a faith-based rehab facility in Rockford, Illinois, following his admission last August (15), reports People Magazine.
Duggar, 28, checked in following a series of scandals, including his confession to being addicted to pornography and an admission that he was unfaithful to his wife Anna.
A source tells People: “If nothing else, this is a happy time for their kids.”
His rehab stint came after a leaked 33-page police report obtained by In Touch Weekly magazine claimed Duggar, the eldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, allegedly molested, sexually assaulted, and “forcibly fondled” young girls.
His sisters Jill and Jessa, who are now in their 20s, came forward as two of the six victims.
Following the leaked information, Duggar released a statement to People magazine (21May15), in which he appears to confess to the accusations.
The statement read: “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends.”
In January (16), Josh’s wife Anna, 27, spoke about her difficult year and revealed her visit to Josh in rehab was “an important step on a long difficult road,” she wrote in a statement posted on the family’s official website.
Meanwhile sister Jessa shared ahead of his release that her “trust is not quickly rebuilt” and it would take a while for her to come to terms with the matter.
“It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future,” she explained to People.
The Duggar family’s new show Counting On premieres Tuesday (15Mar16) at 9 pm ET on TLC in the U.S.
