Rappers Post Malone and 21 Savage have scored a trans-Atlantic double after topping the U.K. and U.S. singles charts with their hit song Rockstar.
The duo landed a second week at number one in Britain on Friday (13Oct17), and on Monday (16Oct17), the hip-hop stars hit the top of America’s Billboard Hot 100 countdown.
The feat is the first number one single for both artists.
Rockstar forces fellow MC Cardi B to slip to number two with Bodak Yellow, ahead of Logic’s 1-800-273-8255 collaboration with Alessia Cara and Khalid.
Meanwhile, on the Billboard 200, rapper NF scores his first album chart-topper with Perception.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ Greatest Hits sits at two, while rapper Lil Pump is new at three with his self-titled debut.
Post Malone’s Stoney climbs to four, with country star Kane Brown rounding out the new top five with his eponymous release.
