Tallulah Willis celebrates three years of sobriety

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah Willis is celebrating three years sober.
The 23-year-old took to Instagram over the weekend (08-09Jul17) and shared a picture of herself taken while she was battling her addiction issues.
In her candid post, Willis admitted she “didn’t value herself”, and claimed her troubles left her “a shell” of herself.
“3 years ago I was a malnourished string bean with aches that echoed throughout my soul,” she wrote. “However the internal cries to tend my most blistered and deep wounds repeatedly fell on deaf ears. I did not value myself, my life or my body and as such I was constantly punishing for not being enough. Self annihilation fueled with medicating left me a shell, and the world on mute. ”
Now fully recovered, Willis insists she is grateful for the people she had to support her during her tough times and she will always remember what she struggled through before she got sober.
“I was hoisted from my hole… on the backs of powerful human beings that I will forever be indebted too, and on that day my life was gifted back to me,” she added. “I love the girl in this picture, I cry for her and I mourn her lost years. She is inside of me always and I must never let her slip too far. I don’t push any agenda, I can only speak for my path and staying sober has been far and beyond the most important thing I’ve done in my wee 23 years.”
The model and artist, Demi and Bruce’s youngest daughter, previously battled body dysmorphic disorder and depression, and entered a treatment centre for 45 days in 2014, at the urging of her famous parents and siblings.
