Okay so technically, Pokemon porn has been hiding somewhere in the deep caverns of the Internet (caverns we really choose not to venture to) for a long time. It’s probably existed somewhere since the game exploded into popularity in the mid-’90s, but ever since Pokemon Go launched in early July, the number of people searching for this weird sub-genre of porn has dramatically increased.
We can’t really vouch for what Pokemon porn actually is, but we do know that it’s more popular than ever. According to stats released by the YouTube of adult entertainment, YouPorn, searches for the topic rose 136% in less than a week after the game launched.

Sure. According to the research, Pokemon porn is particularly popular among male millennials. Man, millennials really need to get their heads out of the gutter (or not, we don’t judge).

It was also found that Central and South America are searching for Pokemon porn the most. Can someone explain that please?

According to Alex Hawkins, a spokesperson for YouPorn, the past week has seen an entire shift in the way people search for porn all together. “In the last five days we have seen a giant shift in porn searches. Our top searches, which usually consist of MILF, Teen, and Interracial have been replaced with Pokemon, Pikachu, Hentai and Anime,” he said.
Seriously, no! Not our precious, cute Pikachu. Is nothing sacred?
On a very different note, Pokemon Go is officially more popular than porn. Since the game launched, more people have been searching online for Pokemon Go-related articles than they’ve been looking to get their rocks off, proving there’s hope for everyone’s Internet porn addiction (at least until they’ve managed to catch ’em all or get bored having to run down a five story walk-up to catch a pidgey).

Seriously, this is all a bit much for us to handle.
