How She Did in Our Poll Last Year: In 2001, bold, buxom, provocative beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones (pronounced ZEETA) was the third sexiest woman in Hollywood, according to your votes, but she miraculously disappeared from the list last year. Now she’s working her way back up the ladder, not that she’d give a s*** if she knew (see Best Quote, below).
Sexiest Role: She was hot in Entrapment, hotter still in The Mask of Zorro, but there’s just no topping her Oscar-nominated turn as Velma Kelly in Chicago. She’s got the slinky moves, the husky voice and the incredible eyes that have all the ’20s boys droolin’ on their spats. Physical Feature We Love: Her gorgeous hair was cropped into a bob for Chicago, so that’s not what drew your votes. We suspect it’s those luscious curves that were so very well displayed in the ribald dance numbers. In Her Future: Between a well-publicized feud with the UK mag Hello! over her wedding pictures, an Oscar nomination, and the impending baby she fears may well be born on Oscar night, Zeta-Jones has a lot more to worry about than whether or not her next movie, Intolerable Cruelty, will be a hit. Still, with several projects in development and a few in pre-production, Zeta-Jones should be in the spotlight for one reason or another for years to come. |
How He Did in Our Poll Last Year: Sweet Leo is a Hollywood.com Sexy Stars virgin, but with two hot movies out in the last three months, he was a shoo-in this year.
Sexiest Role: He may have gotten nekked (or nearly so) in the 2000 flop The Beach, and it’s tough to top his romantic lad in Titanic. But he’s most attractive when he’s playing the lighthearted playboy, and the best example of that is Catch Me If You Can, in theaters now. Go, NOW. Best Quote: After Romeo + Juliet was released, DiCaprio said, “I believe in love at first sight–but it hasn’t happened to me yet.” Aw, shucks.
