Who does Eminem think he is, a country singer? The Grammy-winning rapper was arrested Sunday night outside a Warren, Mich., nightclub after a fight broke out between security guards and the hip-hopster’s crew, the club manager tells The Associated Press.
Warren police today confirmed that four people — three men and one woman — were apprehended at the Hot Rocks Cafe on charges ranging from suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon to disorderly conduct. Police declined to the release the names of those arrested.
There has been no comment from Eminem’s label, Interscope.
The Associated Press said Eminem was released from custody later Sunday. It’s unclear whether he’ll face charges.
Eminem — alter-ego Slim Shady, real name Marshall Mathers — is riding high professionally with his just-released second album, “The Marshall Mathers LP”, which debuted at No. 1 last week on the pop album charts.
