Aaron Carter’s ex named as domestic violence suspect

Aaron Carter’s ex-girlfriend has been named as a suspect in a domestic violence report following an incident at his home last month (Jul19).
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com police officers took a report about an alleged bust-up between Aaron and his ex, Lina Valentina that took place in the early hours of 31 July at the troubled popstar’s home, just days before the couple broke up and he kicked her out.
Sources close to the star tell the gossip website he made the allegation after cops were called to his home last Wednesday (8Aug) for a welfare check. Insiders say he told officers she had slapped him across the face, showing them a photograph of a bruise from the following day.
The 31-year-old reportedly alleged the incident occurred after he and Lina got into a heated argument because she wouldn’t stop accusing him of being in love with another girl.
Last week’s welfare check occurred after an anonymous family member called the emergency services saying they were worried Aaron was going to take his own life or hurt someone else, and claimed he might be doing drugs. Police officials left when they finally tracked down the Crazy Little Party Girl singer and determined he was OK.
Sources close to Aaron told TMZ.com he believes his disgruntled ex may have been behind the call to police. Lina, an artist, is yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
