Actor Conrade Gamble dies, aged 45

The actor died of natural causes in Los Angeles on 12 July (12).

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Gamble graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and then served in the Marine Corps Reserves as a sergeant in the Gulf War.

He later moved to Hollywood and took up a job as a stuntman, appearing in several hit films, including G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra, The Green Hornet, The Amazing Spider-Man, Hostage, Takers and Evan Almighty. He also performed in dozens of TV shows, such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Crossing Jordan, Alias and The Closer.

Gamble is also famous for serving as a stunt double for Bernie Mac and Ving Rhames in the films Guess Who and Mission: Impossible III
