Actress Melissa Joan Hart is reportedly in talks to executive produce and star in a reboot of her family sitcom Clarissa Explains It All.
The actress starred as teenager Clarissa Darling from 1991 to 1994, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, she will reprise the role – as a mother in the reboot.
Series creator Mitchell Kriegman is also in negotiations to return to write and executive produce, alongside Hart. The project is reportedly in early development.
Last month (Feb18), Hart spoke about the possibility of revisiting the series, explaining she felt the original show’s finale didn’t have any real closure.
“I think Clarissa ended on a note that could be explored again, because it didn’t really have an ending – it sort of ended,” she told the publication.
