Alice Cooper regroups his original band for Nashville show

Alice Cooper regrouped his original 1970s Alice Cooper Band lineup for a gig in Tennessee on Sunday night (14May17).
Bassist Dennis Dunaway, guitarist Michael Bruce and drummer Neal Smith joined the School’s Out rocker for five songs, including I’m Eighteen and Billion Dollar Babies at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville.
It marked the first time the four surviving members of his band had performed together publicly since 2015, at an intimate gig in a Dallas, Texas record store. They also performed together at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, and at the Golden Gods Awards later the same year.
Cooper originally shut down the Alice Cooper Band to go solo in 1975. His original guitarist, Glen Buxton, died in 1997.
