Amber Heard Quizzed For SEVEN Hours’ In Johnny Depp Abuse Case

Amber Heard reportedly faced a seven hour grilling by estranged husband Johnny Depp’s legal representatives.

The Rum Diary actress was questioned for the deposition on Saturday (13Aug16) ahead of her domestic violence trial with 53-year-old Depp, expected to begin on Wednesday (17Aug16).

The actress was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp in May (16) and is required to answer questions under oath ahead of the trial relating to her abuse claims.

According to TMZ, Heard was quizzed about her accusations of her estranged husband’s assaults, covering the May incident and her past claims of violence at the hands of the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

The claims originally emerged two days after she filed for divorce on May 25, when Heard filed a domestic violence restraining order and lodged graphic photos of her bruised face and black eye with the court, that she said was caused by Johnny throwing his cell phone at her on May 21.

TMZ claim Depp’s lawyer Blair Berk “went into great detail about her alleged injuries on that day, and why five concierges, two police officers as well as security guards saw no evidence of the incident.”

However, Heard, who is being represented by lawyer Samantha Spector, reportedly maintained she was injured and couldn’t account for what others saw.

Heard was granted a postponement to the original Friday hearing so the actress could catch a flight from London, England, where she is currently filming Justice League, back to Los Angeles on time to speak to Depp’s lawyers.

The contentious divorce process got even uglier, after a video recording of a vicious argument the pair had prior to their split emerged online last week (ends14Aug16). In the footage, a furious Depp is captured bickering with Heard while appearing to throw a bottle and a glass as he swears.

And although it was speculated that Heard had something to do with the leak, TMZ reports she issued a statement claiming she did not release the video.
