Annabelle Wallis playing Tag with Jeremy Renner

Actress Annabelle Wallis is set to take part in an amped up version of children’s game tag in a new movie with Jeremy Renner and Ed Helms.
The Peaky Blinders star joins fellow castmembers Jake Johnson and Hannibal Buress in the film, which is based on a true story about a group of longtime guy pals from Spokane, Washington, who have been engaged in an annual no-holds-barred version of the game for almost 30 years.
The odd tale, which involved Brian Dennehy, former Chief Marketing Officer of top U.S. retailer Nordstrom, and nine of his former classmates, featured in the Wall Street Journal in 2013.
Wallis will portray a reporter named Rebecca, who follows the men for the story, reports Deadline.com.
The article was adapted for the big screen by Mark Steilen and Rob McKittrick, and the project, titled Tag, will be directed by Jeff Tomsic.
Tag is scheduled for release in June, 2018.
