Ashley Judd’s ex Dario Franchitti robbed at gunpoint

Ashley Judd’s ex-husband Dario Franchitti and fellow racing driver Scott Dixon were robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night (21May17) after stopping for food in Indiana.
The IndyCar stars had pulled into the drive-through of a Taco Bell eatery in Indianapolis, where they were targeted by two male teenagers.
The youngsters snatched their credit cards, and also took the wallet of Scott’s wife, Emma Davies-Dixon, who was in the car with the sportsmen.
The incident was immediately reported to police, who apprehended two suspects, aged 14 and 15, and charged them with felony robbery. The 15-year-old was also slapped with a count of resisting law enforcement, reports ESPN.com.
Franchitti and Dixon have declined to comment on the incident, but a spokesperson for Dixon’s team, Chip Ganassi Racing, has assured fans the stars are “completely fine”.
The attack occurred just hours after Dixon set one of the fastest qualifying times in history for the Indy 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He will take pole position for the big race this weekend (28May17).
Franchitti split from actress Judd in early 2013, and retired from racing after suffering a near-fatal car crash later that year (13).
