Australians want Eminem banned

Rumors that the shock rapper Eminem end up Down Under has some Australians appalled. The Australian Family Association reportedly has described Eminem as a “hate rapper” and called for government to deny him an entry visa, BBC News reports. Bill Muehlenberg, the AFA’s national secretary, told the Australian Daily Telegraph that the rapper has been condemned as being “sexist, misogynist, racist,” and would imagine that some groups would be offended should he tour Australia. No tour dates have been confirmed, but local papers have reported that he will play shows in August or September. In other news, Eminem’s rhyme clique, D12, has been added to the roaster of artists performing at this year’s Warped Tour as of June 22, just a few days after the release of their first album, Devil’s Night. An Interscope Records spokesperson told Sonicnet.com that Eminem may make surprise appearances on a few dates.
