Bill Wyman diagnosed with cancer

Former Rolling Stones rocker Bill Wyman has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The 79-year-old is undergoing treatment to tackle the disease.
A statement from his publicist reads: “He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught in the early stages… The Wyman family has asked for their privacy during this time.”
Wyman, born William Perks, performed with the Stones between 1962 and 1993. After leaving the band he formed his own group, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings. He has also worked on solo projects.
The rocker was spotted at the wedding of ex-bandmate Mick Jagger’s former partner Jerry Hall and media mogul Rupert Murdoch in London on Saturday (05Mar16). He attended the ceremony with his wife Suzanne Accosta.
