Bob Dylan fan buys singer’s 1950s home

A Bob Dylan superfan has bought the singer’s childhood home in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Bill Pagel is hoping to restore the place to its former glory and remind fellow devotees what the pad would have looked like when Dylan was growing up there in the 1950s.
“I’m trying to locate another collector, who purchased many pieces of the original furniture, including Bob Dylan’s bedroom set, from the Hibbing home in 1988,” Pagel says in a statement. “I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have a lead in locating this person.”
The folk rocker lived at 2425 7th Ave, which has been renamed Bob Dylan Drive, from 1948 to 1959.
Pagel, who reportedly bought the place for $84,000 (£67,000), runs the Dylan fan website boblinks.com. He previously purchased Dylan’s first childhood home in Duluth, Minnesota on Ebay back in 2001.
