Faced with the threat of a strike in January by the 10,000-member Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), 20th Century Fox has pulled production of Daredevil out of Montreal, Screen Daily, the online edition of the British trade paper Screen International, reported Tuesday. The publication said that other Hollywood productiions may also be moving out of Canada as a result of the strike threat. ACTRA responded that it is willing to make agreements with producers on an individual production-by-production basis until an industry-wide agreement is reached.
