Carnie Wilson: ‘I felt devastated and humiliated after post-surgery Howard Stern chat’

Singer Carnie Wilson won’t be returning to shock jock Howard Stern’s satellite radio show in a hurry after accusing him of fat-shaming her back in 1999.
The Wilson Phillips star agreed to appear on his show nine weeks after undergoing gastric bypass surgery, and was shocked to learn she’d greet the host while standing on a scale.
Then, Stern asked her fiance Rob Bonfiglio why he wanted to marry someone Carnie’s size.
“He just nailed me… He loves to fat-shame,” Wilson said on The Talk on Wednesday (08Nov17). “It’s a joke to him, but it wasn’t to me. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
“I remember going back to the hotel and I was so devastated and so embarrassed – humiliated really… I literally crawled in bed.”
