A CBS spokesman has denied reports that security guards working for the Survivor series in Kenya held a group of local environmental activists at gunpoint before allowing them to meet with the show’s producers. Chris Ender told Thursday’s New York Post that the reports were greatly exaggerated and that the producers were glad to meet with the environmentalists to explain how they intend to protect the area where they will be shooting and even contribute to its improvement.
