CBS announced Thursday that it had signed a new five-year deal with the
National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences to broadcast the Grammy
Awards.
The 29th awards show, it said, will originate at the Staples Center
in Los Angeles on Feb. 27, although part of the program may be staged in New
York.
