Chicago Fire’s Alexandra Metz sues over alleged hotel bar beating

Actress Alexandra Metz has filed suit against bosses of a popular Los Angeles hotel after she was allegedly put in a chokehold by a security guard.
The Chicago Fire star, who has also appeared on Gossip Girl, claims she was at the Ace Hotel’s Upstairs rooftop lounge last summer (16) when she became involved in an altercation with a bouncer.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, she claims the security guard grabbed her and forced her into an elevator, where he is also said to have twisted her wrist, wrapped his arm around her neck, and thrown her to the ground.
Metz doesn’t explain what prompted the beating, but her attorney, Neil Steiner, tells the outlet they are close to identifying the bouncer who reportedly assaulted her.
She is suing for injuries sustained and the humiliation caused by the incident, which she claims has left her suffering anxiety attacks.
Ace Hotel officials have yet to respond to the suit.
