FOX News talk show host Bill O’Reilly responded to a scathing letter sent by actor George Clooney on Tuesday night’s broadcast of The O’Reilly Factor. In the letter, Clooney had accused O’Reilly of shamelessly slandering celebrities who are promoting the Sept. 11th Fund.
The letter was sent in response to O’Reilly’s recent comments about celebrities ignoring where the funds are dispersed.
“Many grieving families have heard nothing from the September 11th Fund…and confusion is everywhere,” O’Reilly said on Tuesday, blaming celebrities such as Clooney for not truly caring about relief efforts.

“The majority of these people are phonies, much more interested in their own images than solving any social problems.”
